Dr Williams is a motivated and compassionate Principal Clinical Psychologist working in a Neuropsychology outpatient setting, registered with the HCPC (PYL37310).
Dr Williams has completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Glasgow, and is currently enrolled on the ‘practice’ component, hoping
to achieve Neuropsychologist status in 2027.
Dr Williams has significant experience in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, having worked in a range of settings, including acute and neurorehabilitation wards and outpatient services; this has necessitated work with individuals, families, multidisciplinary teams and other agencies. Though she currently work with adults, Dr Williams has also worked in paediatric settings, meaning that she has experience with acquired and degenerative neurological conditions across the life span. Working therapeutically, and often for difficulties arising as a consequence of neurological diagnosis (including Functional Neurological Disorder), Dr Williams has interests in Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
