Dr Ohlsson is a compassionate and dedicated Principal Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC Practitioner Psychologist: PYL32508), with nearly 10 years’ experience of working with individuals with neurological conditions and physical health difficulties. She has completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology and is currently undertaking the practice component of the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology. She regularly supervises Clinical Psychology Trainees at the University of Leeds.

Throughout her career, Dr Ohlsson has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of settings including acute hospitals (stroke and neuro), post-acute neurorehabilitation units and outpatient neuropsychology services. She has experience working across the adult life span with individuals with both acquired and degenerative neurological conditions. She is skilled in completing psychological and neuropsychological assessments, risk assessments, delivering psychological interventions, and in multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation. Dr Ohlsson has experience working with individuals who are being supported under the Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act. Having spent a significant proportion of her career working in neurorehabilitation settings, her particular interest is in goals driven neurorehabilitation and especially in working with, and supporting MDTs to deliver person centred, integrated care and rehabilitation interventions. Therapeutically, Dr Ohlsson has a particular interest in Third Wave Approaches.
