I am a Principal Clinical Psychologist and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist experienced in complex rehabilitation across acute inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. My work focuses on supporting people to recover from sudden changes in physical health, particularly complex polytrauma and acquired brain injury. I remain active in clinical planning and development, contributing to regional and national clinical networks to share best practice and ensure my work is aligned with contemporary literature and clinical guidance. I train and supervise the clinical practice of Trainee Clinical Psychologists at the University of Hull.

My clinical work has spanned the age and severity ranges, working with a culturally diverse population. I routinely provide consultation to multidisciplinary teams alongside working directly with individuals, undertaking neuropsychological assessment and formulation of the consequences of brain injury to establish integrated care and intervention plans on individualised basis. I am accustomed to operating within legislative frameworks such as the Mental Capacity and Mental Health Acts in addition to forensic matters covered by the Offender Management Act, and have a high aptitude for issues of risk management. My special interest is in working with the network around individuals, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care and treatment, and supporting the social system understand neuropsychological changes.
